Introduction:

The 'Blog posts' section of a Shopify store provides an excellent opportunity to showcase the latest or most popular blog posts, offering valuable content to the audience and driving traffic to the blog. By highlighting engaging articles, merchants can increase user engagement, establish authority in their niche, and foster a sense of community around the brand. In this section, we'll explore the various settings and customization options available for the featured blog section, empowering merchants to create compelling displays that attract visitors and encourage them to explore the blog further.

Settings Overview:

The Settings Overview offers a comprehensive look at all the customization options available within the 'Blog posts' section, providing the merchant with the tools to curate visually appealing displays that effectively showcase the blog content and drive engagement.

• Color scheme: With that setting, the user can choose the color scheme of the section. For more information on setting up the color schemes, refer to Theme settings → Colors → Schemes.

• Make section full width: Allows the user to use the full width of the screen (small gaps are left at both ends that cannot be absorbed).

• Auto-rotate slides: A setting that enables auto-rotating of the selected blogs in the section. When the last blog in the section has been reached, the rotation restarts.

• Change slides every: Give the user the control to modify the interval in seconds for every slide to stand on the screen. It can vary from 3 to 10 seconds.

• Text alignment: Gives control over the horizontal positioning of all the text. One of three possibilities is to be chosen: Left, Center or Right.

• Heading: Enter a heading for the slide.

• Heading size: Gives control over the heading font size. One of three possibilities is to be chosen: Small, Medium or Large.

• Body text: Enter a body text for the section.

• Button label: Enter a label for the button, which is with a predefined link to the Blog page.

• Blog: With that setting, a blog could be chosen. The blog posts part of the chosen blog will appear arranged by date, starting with the newest blog post on left to the oldest one on right.

• Show author: Enables or disables the author appearing right below the blog posts.
