Introduction:

The Video section of a Shopify store provides a powerful platform to engage visitors with dynamic content that showcases products, tells your brand’s story, and leaves a lasting impression. Whether highlighting product demonstrations, behind-the-scenes insights, or promotional campaigns, this section offers merchants the flexibility to present their brand through compelling videos. In this section, we'll explore the various settings and customization options available for the Video feature, helping merchants create immersive visual experiences that captivate audiences and boost engagement.

Settings Overview:

The Settings Overview offers a detailed guide to the customization options within the 'Video' section, allowing merchants to craft visually impactful displays that elevate their products, reinforce their brand identity, and enhance storytelling efforts.

• Color scheme: With that setting, the user can choose the color scheme of the section. For more information on setting up the color schemes, refer to Theme settings → Colors → Schemes.

• Autoplay: It enables or disables the setting for autoplaying the video.

• Overlay opacity: A setting that allows the user to control the overlay opacity by creating a box around the heading, body text, and button. It can vary from 0% to 100% rounded to 10 (0%, 10%, 20%, etc.). When 0% is set, overlay is disabled; when 100% is set, the box would become all white.

• Video: Select a video for the desktop version.

• Content vertical alignment: Gives control over the vertical positioning of all the content. One of three possibilities is to be chosen: Top, Center or Bottom.

• Content horizontal alignment: Gives control over the horizontal positioning of all the content. One of three possibilities is to be chosen: Left, Center or Right.

• Heading: Enter a heading for the section.

• Heading size: Gives control over the heading font size. One of three possibilities is to be chosen: Small, Medium or Large.

• Body text: Enter a body text for the section.

• Button label: Enter a label for the button.

• Button link: With that setting, the user can choose one of the store links or enter an external link for the button.
