Featured collections

The section is managed through:

Introduction:

The Featured collections section of a Shopify store is a powerful tool for showcasing curated assortments of products, promoting seasonal or thematic collections, and guiding visitors towards relevant product categories. By strategically highlighting key collections, merchants can capture the interest of their audience, drive engagement, and ultimately increase sales. In this section, we'll explore the various settings and customization options available for the featured collections section, empowering merchants to create visually compelling displays that effectively showcase curated product offerings and encourage exploration.

Settings Overview:

The Settings Overview offers a comprehensive examination of all customization options available within the Featured Collections subcategory, enabling the creation of visually appealing and strategically curated collection displays that resonate with the audience and drive conversions.

  • Color scheme: With that setting, the user can choose the color scheme of the Featured collections. For more information on setting up the color schemes, refer to Theme settings → Colors → Schemes.

  • Make section full width: Allows the user to use the full width of the screen (small gaps are left at both ends that cannot be absorbed).

  • Text alignment: Gives control over the horizontal positioning of all the text. One of three possibilities is to be chosen: Left, Center or Right.

  • Heading: Enter a heading for the slide.

  • Heading size: Gives control over the heading font size. One of three possibilities is to be chosen: Small, Medium or Large

Add Collection:

One or two collections can be added. If one collection has been added, the visualization of the section would be standard. If two collections have been added, the section will be split into two with both collections illustrated.

  • Collection: Gives the user the option to select a collection to present.

  • Color scheme: With that setting, the user can choose the color scheme of the Featured collections. For more information on setting up the color schemes, refer to Theme settings → Colors → Schemes.

  • Overlay opacity: A setting that allows the user to control the overlay opacity. It can vary from 0% to 100% rounded to 10 (0%, 10%, 20%, etc.). When 0% is set, overlay is disabled; when 100% is set, the collection appearance would become all white .
